The four days long conference on ” Displacements and Vulnerabilities:

A Conference on Forced Migration and Media in South Asia,” was held in Lalitpur, Nepal from 4 to 7 February. On the 4th of February, the conference was inaugurated with a welcome address by the respected Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to Nepal Dr. Thomas Prinz, Andrea Marshall from DW Akademie, welcome address by Nasreen Chowdhory of Calcutta Research Group, Som Niroula of Nepal Institute for Peace; and a keynote address by senior journalist Subir Bhaumik.
